If during the period of the Guarantee the product fails due to manufacturing or material defect MYHEAT will replace free of charge or arrange for the heating to be repaired. The cost of repair or replacement is your only remedy under this Guarantee which does not affect your statutory rights. Such cost does not extend to any cost other than direct cost of repair or replacement by MYHEAT and does not extend to costs of relaying replacing or repairing any floor covering or floor.
The Guarantee is only valid if:
  1. the installation plan has been completed in full by the installer and all electrical connections are carried out by a suitably qualified electrician.
  2. the heater has been earthed and protected by a 30mA Residual Current Device (RCD) at all times
  3. the installation complies with the installation instructions provided
  4. the products have been paid for in full and there is no dispute between MYHEAT and the customer /installer /supplier

The Guarantee does not continue if the floor covering over the underfloor heating is damaged, lifted, replaced, repaired or covered with subsequent layers of flooring. If the underfloor heating fails due to damage caused during installation or tiling, this Guarantee does not apply. It is therefore important to check that the heater is working (as specified in the installation manual) prior to the final floor covering being applied.
The 10 Year Guarantee on all products relates to the product having been properly installed in accordance with the published installation instructions, and used under normal working conditions. This Guarantee will not be valid if any of the products either have not been properly installed or have been abused in their application. Factors that would constitute abuse are illustrated by (but not limited to) the following examples:
Heating elements
High floor temperatures (in excess of those stated in the installation instructions) or prolonged heating times caused by improperly controlling or programming the heating system or by thermal blocking
MYHEAT is not responsible for:
  • Damage or repairs required as a consequence of faulty installation, incorrect application or misuse. 
  • Damage as a result of thermal blocking. 
  • Damage as a result of floods, fires, winds, lightning, accidents, corrosive atmosphere or other conditions beyond the control of MYHEAT. 
  • Use of components or accessories not compatible with this unit. 
  • Products installed outside the United Kingdom. 
  • Normal maintenance as described in the installation and operating manual, such as cleaning thermostat. 
  • Parts not supplied or designated by MYHEAT
  • Damage or repairs required as a result of any improper use, maintenance, operation or servicing. 
  • Failure to start due to interruption and/or inadequate electrical service. 
  • Any damage caused by frozen or broken water pipes in the event of equipment failure. 
  • Changes in the appearance of the product that does not affect its performance.
Underfloor Cable Mats and Underfloor Cable Kits Lifetime Guarantee
Should a claim be made, the completed warranty form and proof of purchase will be required. A normal invoice/receipt stating the exact model(s) purchased is sufficient for this purpose. You must provide all of the details requested in the guarantee plus fill in your extended warranty leaflet and mail it back to us.
The MYHEAT warranty covers Underfloor cable mats and Underfloor cable kits providing the following terms and conditions are met:
Terms and conditions
The lifetime warranty will cover the heating cable once the original 10 year warranty expires and is valid for the lifetime of the original floor covering under which it is fitted.
  • To activate the lifetime warranty, registration must be made within 90 days of purchase. The lifetime warranty is only valid once you receive a confirmation letter from MYHEAT.
  • Neither extended warranty applies if the original floor covering over the heating cables is flooded, damaged, lifted, replaced or covered with subsequent layers of flooring.
  • The system must be installed in accordance with the installation instructions and be protected by a suitable residual current device (RCD).
  • The system must be installed in accordance with the latest wiring regulations and installations must comply with part ‘P’ of the building regulations.
  • The repair or replacement of your system is the only remedy available to you under these warranties. None of the above warranties affects your statutory rights.
  • MYHEAT will in no event be liable for secondary charges relating to the repair or replacement of any floor covering or any consequential or incidental damages including but not limited to damages to property or extra utility expenses.
MYHEAT cannot be held liable for:
  • Any damages due to incorrect installations or applications.
  • Any accidental damage or damage caused during installation.
  • Damage as a result of fires, accidents, storms, any ‘acts of god’ or any conditions which may be outwith the control of MYHEAT.
  • Damage due to use of products which are not supplied or recommended by MYHEAT.
All MYHEAT Thermostats come with a 3 year guarantee.
Claims procedure:
Any claim made under this Guarantee should be made directly to the manufacturer. The claim itself should be made in a letter setting out the date and place of purchase, and giving a brief explanation of the problem which has led to the claim. This letter should be sent together with proof of the purchase date (preferably a receipt) to the address above.
This Guarantee applies to all goods purchased from an authorised re-seller within the United Kingdom of Great Britain and Northern Ireland. This Guarantee does not confer any rights other than those expressly set out above and does not cover any claims for consequential loss or damage. This Guarantee is offered as an extra benefit and does not affect your statuary rights. Additional written copies of this Guarantee can be obtained by writing to the above address or via the MYHEAT website. Please include a stamped address envelope for each copy of the Guarantee requested.
